- Ventilation grills
While the fans and chillers do the heavy lifting, Ventilation Grilles are responsible for the final delivery. They control the direction, velocity, and volume of air entering or leaving a room. At Cool Kenya, we ensure that your grilles are not only aesthetically pleasing but engineered for peak aerodynamic performance.
01. Linear Bar Grilles
The Choice for Modern Architecture. With their sleek, continuous lines, linear bar grilles are the favorite of interior designers. They can be installed in long, unbroken runs along walls or ceilings, providing a high-capacity air discharge that blends seamlessly into the decor of high-end offices and hotels.
02. Egg Crate Grilles
Maximum Airflow for Exhaust & Return. Recognizable by their square, lattice-like design, egg crate grilles offer the highest “free area” for air movement. This makes them ideal for return air and exhaust applications where you need to move a large volume of air quietly and efficiently.
03. Swirl Diffusers
Dynamic Mixing for High-Occupancy Spaces. Unlike a standard grille, a swirl diffuser uses a circular pattern of blades to create a “vortex” of air. This promotes rapid mixing of the conditioned air with the room’s existing air, eliminating cold drafts and ensuring a uniform temperature from floor to ceiling.
04. External Weather Louvers
The First Line of Defense. Installed on the exterior of the building, these heavy-duty grilles are designed to allow fresh air intake or exhaust while preventing rain, debris, and birds from entering your ductwork.
The Cool Kenya Expert Edge
A poorly chosen grille can cause “short-circuiting”, where the air goes straight from the supply vent to the return vent without actually cooling the room. Our engineers use Airflow Throw Calculations to ensure every grille is sized correctly for the room’s dimensions, preventing hot spots and reducing your energy bill by up to 15%.
