Industrial and commercial ventilation relies on moving air effectively through spaces and ductwork. At Cool Kenya, we specify and install the two most critical types of fan technology, ensuring your facility receives the exact pressure and volume required for safety and comfort.

01. Axial Fans (Propeller-Style)

High Volume, Low Pressure Solutions. Axial fans move air parallel to the axis of the rotating shaft, much like an airplane propeller. These fans are designed to move a very large volume of air efficiently, provided there is low resistance (static pressure) in the system. Because they are compact and energy-efficient, they are the primary choice for general ventilation where the air doesn’t have to travel through long, complex ducting.

02. Centrifugal Fans (Blower-Style)

High Pressure, High Resistance Solutions. Often referred to as “blowers” or “squirrel cage” fans, centrifugal fans pull air into the center of the unit and then exhaust it at a 90-degree angle. This change in direction uses centrifugal force to significantly increase the air’s pressure. This makes them indispensable for systems where air must be pushed through long distances of ductwork, filters, or heavy industrial machinery that creates resistance.
